[03] . . . . . Bio

I'm Jolana. Opera singer. Mezzo-soprano. After my studies in Prague, I went to the Academy of Music in Frankfurt am Main, where I experienced four unforgettable years of work and self-discovery in the class of Hedwig Fassbaender and Klesie Kelly-Moog. My passion for music took me to different countries, through Toulouse, France, to German theaters, e.g. in Erfurt, Frankfurt or to the State Operetta in Dresden, where I spent three years as a soloist of the company there. Without opera, I would not be the person I am now. The greatest gift, however, are the people I have been able to meet during my journey so far - whether it is my current teacher Christina Vasileva, Helmuth Deutsch, or the singing legend Brigitte Fassbender. Equaly important to me is everyone who finds time and comes to a live concert or a show. I work daily to be able to celebrate life and all its shades with my art. To bring the purest form of emotion and to be able to embody the essence of each role as best as possible so that there is magic that only live art can bring.
